JOIN US AT OUR ROUND ONE LUNCHEON, SATURDAY 15 APRIL 2023
It is hard to believe we are now only just under three weeks away from the Hearts and Bloods taking the field to kick off season 2023, and I am pleased to report that pre-season has been super, with renewed energy across our entire football program off the back of our successes in 2022.
We kick off round one on Saturday 15 April, a day we like to call a Super Saturday, with all four Haileybury teams playing at home. It is a special occasion for our club with the unfurling of the 2022 men's premiership flag, our 9th senior men's premiership, and our 21st premiership across all grades since the club's inception. And of course, off the back of our premiership, our men's football program now returns to A Grade, the Premier Division in VAFA football.
To celebrate this special occasion and the start of season 2023, we are excited to announce our upcoming Gala Luncheon on Saturday, 15 April, commencing at 11.45am at our home ground Princes Park. We have a special guest speaker in Old Haileyburian and St Kilda AFL star, Max King, and we have engaged a catering group to provide what will be a first class lunch.
A key point of focus in 2023 is Engagement, embracing and re-connecting with our Magenta and Black family, a key part of our journey to be more than just a football club; our aim is to be a community! To achieve that goal we need you, after all it is your club, your community, and we need your support.
So, we urge you to support your club by purchasing a ticket to our round one luncheon on Saturday 15 April, and we would encourage you to be quick as we are expecting this event to be a sell out. We want you to join in the excitement and atmosphere as we commence season 2023, and together we will build our community for us all to enjoy.
