Matthew is an executive committee member and the new president of OHAFC. Matthew is a life member of the OHAFC and played over 300 games. He was a three-time premiership player, Best and Fairest winner, club captain, member of the Team of the Century and VAFA representative. Matthew is an owner and Executive Director in the DPM group, a firm which specialises in providing holistic financial advice to medical professionals in the areas of tax and accounting, wealth creation, personal insurance, superannuation, lending, legal and property advisory. Long term OHAFC committee member, and ex-OHAFC champion player David Lappage moves into the position of Vice-President for 2023. David has been connected to the club for over 30 years, playing from 1991 to 2004. His coaching career spans the U19’s 2005-2007, the seniors in 2010-2011 and the school First XVIII 2012-2019, including a Premiership three-peat in 2017, 2018 and 2019. David is proud to see so many recent school leavers still wearing the Magenta and Black on the field.

Lex was at Haileybury from 1960 to 1966 and after leaving had a couple of unremarkable years at Old Haileyburians footy club before pursuing other sporting interests. From 1973 he was a member of the Victorian Bar practising in the criminal law. In 1990 he was appointed Queens Counsel also in criminal law. In 2007 he was appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria. In 2008 he was the first winner of the OHA Medal and in 2015 he was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM). He has participated in a number of Royal Commissions and Inquiries and has defended several people charged in foreign countries charged with death penalty offences. His particular committee role will be legal and governance.
An Old Haileyburian (2014) and business graduate, Angus joined the OHFC team at the beginning of the 2022 season. With passion and experience in sporting roles, mainly within the Thoroughbred Racing industry, Angus' love for all things sport made this role with Old Haileyburians a natural fit. With an equal passion for business and a huge love of footy, working on the commercial side of the club to ensure the success continues off the field is what drives Angus in the general managers position.
Angus' portfolio will include all things related to corporate partnerships, membership, subscriptions, merchandise, and the OHAFC business directory.

Ian is a senior CPA qualified finance & commercial executive with extensive experience in various industries. He has held finance and commercial roles with Brambles, Mayne, Toll, Linfox, Cleanaway, Kangan Institute, Victorian Regional Channel Authority and Ports Victoria. Ian Played 85 inglorious games for the club including the 1978 U/19 Premiership
He is also a field umpire with over 300 games – over 200 with the VAFA and Treasurer of the Old Haileyburians Association.
His responsibilities include VAFA dealings, ground bookings, fixtures, clearances and player registrations

Lauren has been a part of the Hearts since the inaugural team in 2017. Since her first year she has seen the club grow in their values and strengthen their ‘one-club’ identity, while striving for equality between the women's and men's divisions. For the 2022 seasons she will continue to play for the Hearts as well as supporting the committee with the development of the women's side, building it to have equal opportunities as the men.

As a parent of an Old Haileyburian, Sal followed his son to the Club and has been Treasurer since 2019. He brings strong financial acumen to the Committee. In his professional life, Sal is a Director at Deloitte, one of the worlds leading consulting companies.
A past player from OHAFC, Bourkey has come on in 2023 to take over the mantle of director of football operations. A dual runner up best and fairest, as well as a VAFA rep in 2003, Bourkey's time as an esteemed footballer saw him take over as the General Manager of VAFA Operations from 2006-2011. Now back at Old Haileyburians, Bourkey is looking to assist the Bloods and Hearts across their football departments to ensure the success across the club continues.
